Biome Presentations will be this week! September 29 - October 2. Please be prepared, professional, and thorough! The Individual part of the assignment will DUE on Friday. Please feel free to turn it in early for 5 bonus points and feedback!
Climatograms will be due on Thursday! Ideally you will have a little time in class each day to work on it. Use the time effectively!
Monday we start into Chapter 6 Population and Community Ecology. There are no reading quizzes or checks. It is my expectation that students are completing the reading on their own time and bringing questions/understanding to class.
Per your request, we are going to have more labs in class. This increases your responsibility to complete the reading and come to class with the knowledge necessary to complete the labs. A lack of evidence of students completing readings will lead to more lectures. This is YOUR collective CHOICE.
This week we will continue our studies of Population Ecology during our "Effects of Density on Plant Growth" lab. Students will have a full class period to perform background research on Friday and Monday (11/2).
Turn in a rough draft on Wednesday 11/4 for feedback. The final draft is due Monday 11/9.
