Students will research the pros and cons of Genetically Modified Organisms to develop an opinion statement with factual evidence to support their opinion. At the end of the week students will have crafted a clearly stated statement of opinion and written a 3 paragraph support mini-paper that explains in detail 3 different facts researched in class.
Students will celebrate their knowledge of DNA in quiz on Monday. This will celebrate the last 3 weeks of learning and include the topics: DNA, RNA, Protein, DNA coding, GMOs, CRISPR technology, Mitosis, and Cancer.
